ColourfulCart is a curated marketplace for original, handmade and custom-created artworks. We work closely with independent artists to ensure safe delivery and fair return practices for customers across India and worldwide.
Shipping Coverage
ColourfulCart delivers orders:
Across India
Worldwide, including the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore, and other countries
Shipping availability depends on the artwork type, size, artist location, and destination.
Order Processing Time
All artworks are handmade or artist-created.
Ready artworks: 3–7 business days
Custom / commissioned artworks: 7–21 business days (as mentioned on the product page)
Processing time includes creation, quality check, and secure packaging.
Delivery Time Estimates
India: 5–10 business days after dispatch
International: 10–25 business days after dispatch
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs, holidays, weather, or courier delays.
Shipping Charges & Customs
Shipping charges (if any) are shown at checkout
International orders may attract customs duty, VAT, or import taxes, payable by the buyer
ColourfulCart has no control over customs clearance timelines or charges
Packaging & Artwork Safety
All artworks are packed using protective, damage-resistant materials as per ColourfulCart packaging guidelines.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
If an artwork arrives damaged or is lost in transit:
Notify ColourfulCart within 48 hours of delivery
Share clear photos/videos of the artwork and packaging
Resolution may include replacement, store credit, or refund based on verification.
RETURN POLICY
Due to the nature of handmade, custom and artist-created products, returns are accepted only in limited and valid cases.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
Custom or personalised artwork
Portraits or artworks created from customer photos
Tattoo designs or flash sheets
Digital artworks or downloadable files
Made-to-order paintings
Custom jewellery, textile or fashion items
Artworks already installed, framed on request, or altered
These items are created specifically for you and cannot be resold.
Eligible Return Cases
A return or replacement may be approved only if:
The artwork is damaged during transit
A wrong item was delivered
The artwork is incomplete or defective
The item is significantly different from the product description (excluding artistic style variations)
Return Request Timeline
All return or damage requests must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
Requests received after this period may not be accepted
Return Approval Process
Once a return request is raised:
ColourfulCart will review photos/videos and order details
If approved, you may receive:
Replacement
Store credit
Refund (only if replacement is not possible)
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
International Returns
For international orders:
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer
Customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable
Refunds are processed only after the artwork is received in original condition
Artwork Variations Disclaimer
As all artworks are handmade:
Minor variations in colour, texture, brushwork, fabric, or finish are normal
Such variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return
Off-Platform Transactions Disclaimer
If you communicate, pay, or arrange delivery directly with an artist outside ColourfulCart, the platform is not responsible for:
Shipping delays
Returns or refunds
Artwork quality disputes
Data or payment loss
All buyer protection applies only to orders placed through the official ColourfulCart platform.
